                   NDIS Community Participation Services

Healthy social interactions
and community participation are important for the mental well-being of people with disabilities. Differently-abled individuals are more likely to feel isolated from society than able-bodied individuals due to various physical, attitudinal, systemic, and communication barriers that prevent them from becoming active members of society. So, they must be provided with opportunities to engage in social and recreational activities to improve their social participation.
Increased social participation will, in turn, help them to become more independent in life and boost their morale to pursue their goals.Agility Care assists our participants in pursuing their hobbies or learning a new skill as part of NDIS community participation by providing the services of NDIS-funded support workers who will help the participants partake in the activities of their choice. We also help the participants to choose activities that best align with their NDIS goals, promoting innovative community participation.
In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, Agility Care has focused on the safety and physical well-being of the participants who are going outside the comfort and hygiene of their homes. We thoroughly appraise the safety of the activities and the environment before recommending it to our clients. Engagement in community activities is not only crucial for mental well-being but also for developing a sense of belonging and self-worth. Agility Care recognises the importance of NDIS’s innovative community participation and is committed to ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to be a part of their community in a meaningful way.
Our support workers are trained to provide the necessary support to enable participants to engage in a wide range of activities, from sports and recreation to arts and cultural events. We believe that innovative community participation is key to enhancing the quality of life of individuals with disabilities.By providing the necessary support and encouragement, we empower our clients to overcome barriers, build relationships, and contribute to their communities. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive society for all.
